My Marilyn Moment - FOTD

Here is a FOTD from a wedding I attended last weekend. I didn’t really celebrate Halloween this year due to the hurricane, so I figured I would do a Face of the Day post instead! I loved my hair and makeup, and of course my sparkly dress!

Here is what I used:

Face
Dr. Jart’s BB Cream
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
NARS Orgasm Illuminator
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

Eyes
Urban Decay Primer Potion
MAC Smolder Eye Liner
L'Oreal 24hr Infallible Eyeshadow in Gold Imperial
Benefit They’re Real Mascara

Lips
C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve
Lime Crime lipstick in Centrifuchsia

Some notes - I did use blotting papers throughout the night, between dancing and drinking it got a little hot in there! Also, I curled my lashes, applied two coats of the mascara, waited until it dried, and applied another layer. I bought false lashes for the wedding, but ended up not needing them.  I used the Rose Salve to moisturize my lips, then took most of it off before applying the lipstick. I re-applied the lipstick maybe twice the whole night, it lasted very nicely.  I got my hair blown out at T Carlton salon in Long Island, and the guy did a fantastic job! I call this my "pageant hair" because it's so big and fluffy. Here are some more photos for your enjoyment =)

You can see the dress better here.
It was such a va va voom, kick ass dress. LOVE

Open bar happened. Help.

Who is cooler than us?

In other news, I hope everyone reading this is safe and sound after the hurricane. We didn't get any damage from the storm, but I know other people weren't as lucky. Thinking of everyone affected down the Jersey Shore! Since Greg and I were stuck inside for days, we decided to make the best of it and carve some jack o lanterns! We were pretty proud of ourselves!

More posts to come! Stay safe and warm everyone! xoxo
