imPRESS Press-On Nails - The Verdict

These press-on nails have been sitting on my dresser for God knows how long, and I finally gave them a go this week. Long story short, I am so torn on how to review these. Let me explain...

The application couldn't have been easier - just match up the press-on nail to your nail, peel the strip off, give it a good press and you're done! I really loved how they looked - I got many compliments on them. They stayed on for 6 days before I went to the nail salon and got my nails done. So i'm assuming they would have stayed on longer had I not removed them, being that they showed no sign of lifting, moving, cracking etc. I'm very hard on my nails and type all day long at work on my keyboard, and they really held up great! Now the bad part...

They are a complete bitch to remove. Like, really bad. If I hadn't gotten them removed by my manicurist, I doubt I would have been able to take them off myself. I'm not sure if this is how they normally are, or it was the extreme heat that we've been having, but the press-ons seem to almost MELT onto my real nail. My manicurist had to practically peel them off piece by piece, and it left my real nails a huge mess.

So long story short - I absolutely loved them and were so impressed with how they held up, but i'm not sure the aftermath was worth it. If you have longer natural nails and apply these press-ons - be prepared to cut your natural nails off because they won't survive. So again, i'm not sure if removing these is usually this difficult or it was just the experience I had, but believe me it was bad.

Sorry for the semi-depressing review guys! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! My fiance and I are having our engagement party tonight, I am so excited!

  3. I like these but so on the fence! I love changing my polish every 2 days! Lol

  4. I have wanting to try them great review =)

  5. Aw man that sucks!
They do look great though - loving the bling too ;)

  6. Wow, such a different outcome than mine. I also reviewed these but mine didn't even last a full day before one popped off. By day 3, I had already lost 3. I was so sad because they looked so pretty and natural on. I haven't repurchased these but I've been tempted to give them another go. I really wanted to like them.

  7. @Miss Tapia - If you have nice nails, be careful girl! =)

@Nora - haha thanks babe! I know, people would stop me and ask me where I got my nails done haha
@Ms. Prettyful - that is so crazy! I guess everyone has had different experiences with them. like I said before, I'm not sure if the extreme heat melted them, or that's just how difficult they are to pry off your nails haha. I'm with you though - I wanted to like them so bad too!
