Evil Queen Makeup

In honor of Friday the 13th, I wanted to do an "evil" post! Muahahaha. So we all know what an impact makeup can have on someone's face. The people in this post have gone bad in their recent movie roles - and have the kick ass makeup to prove it!

So, first up - I can't get over how gorgeous the makeup and costumes are for Charlize Theron's new movie - Snow White and the Huntsman. She is usually so fresh-faced and pretty, and they make her look like a total bitch as the Evil Queen. Between the icy makeup, awesome braided hair and a fierce crown, Charlize is hard to recognize! See stills below:

Can I have a replica of this crown please?

I am also really stoked to see Angelina as Maleficent!! The poster looks so cool - although it's not difficult for me to picture Angelina as playing an evil-doer ha! As the self-proclaimed Mistress of All Evil, I think Angelina can do this role justice!

Hmm so this is an interesting take on "evil" queen huh? This is Julia Roberts in the movie poster Mirror Mirror (also about Snow White). I mean, I wouldn't exactly call her evil-looking, but I guess her eye makeup is a bit...menacing? Still a beautiful photo though, I love how red her hair looks!

OK so maybe Johnny Depp isn't playing any type of evil Queen, but his new movie Dark Shadows (he plays a vampire) is totally worth mentioning in the evil makeup department!

Hope this post brought a little joy to your Friday the 13th! Have a great weekend dolls!!! xoxo

  1. oh hi i see it hehe.. eww creepy esp the last one but julia roberts look so ver pretty! happy friday the 13th doll

  2. I think Charlize is such a stunning woman and look AH MA ZING as the queen! I'm so excited to see that movie.. but I'm questioning the casting for Snow White.. Kristen Stewart fairer than Charlize Theron? Pfft. I think not. I'm also super excited to see Maleficent (she's my very favorite evil queen) and Dark Shadows (used to watch the original with my Mom, plus I love, love, love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp) but I will pass on Mirror, Mirror.. looks too hokey for me ;\ I might catch it on DVD at some point, but it's nothing I'm breaking my neck to see.

  3. Totally agree about the Kristen vs. Charlize debate. I mean come on, you can't even compare the two! Yeah, Mirror Mirror looks stupid but i'm stoked about the other movies!!
